Couples Therapy Intensives
From Protection to Connection.
Sometimes the same argument keeps happening, just with different words.
One of you withdraws while the other reaches harder. Small disagreements become familiar patterns. You both walk away feeling misunderstood, disconnected, or wondering how two people who love each other ended up feeling so far apart.
From the outside, your relationship may look fine. But behind closed doors, you may be carrying resentment, broken trust, loneliness, emotional exhaustion, or a sense that you've lost the closeness you once shared.
The problem usually isn't communication.
More often, it's the survival patterns underneath it.
When we don't feel emotionally safe, our nervous system shifts into protection. We become critical, defensive, withdrawn, or shut down. These patterns are often shaped by past experiences, attachment wounds, and the ways we learned to protect ourselves long before this relationship began.
A Couples Therapy Intensive gives us the time and space to slow those patterns down. Instead of spending each session catching up on the latest conflict, we'll focus on understanding what's happening beneath it so real healing can begin.
I welcome couples of all identities, sexual orientations, and relationship structures, including LGBTQIA2S+, consensually non-monogamous, neurodiverse, interracial, and intercultural relationships.
Using a trauma-informed, attachment-focused approach, we'll work to strengthen emotional safety, rebuild trust, improve communication, deepen intimacy, and create healthier ways of connecting.
The goal isn't simply to argue less.
It's to understand each other more deeply and build a relationship where both partners feel safe, seen, valued, and connected.
Whether you're healing after betrayal, navigating parenthood, preparing for marriage, or simply trying to find your way back to one another, meaningful change is possible. You don't have to figure it out alone.
Every Experience Includes
90-Minute Preparation Session
Before your intensive, we'll clarify your goals, identify the patterns keeping you stuck, explore attachment dynamics, strengthen nervous system regulation, and create a personalized roadmap for your work together.

Every relationship is unique, and your intensive is designed specifically for yours.
Depending on your needs, we may integrate evidence-based approaches such as:

Personalized relationship assessments
Individualized workbook and therapeutic resources

Individualized treatment planning and case conceptualization
More Than Just Therapy Days
A Couples Rapid Transformation Experience begins long before your intensive and continues well after it ends.
Before we meet, I spend dedicated clinical time reviewing your relationship history, assessments, attachment patterns, nervous system responses, and goals to create a treatment plan tailored specifically to your relationship.
After your intensive, healing continues as your relationship begins integrating what you've learned and experienced together. Your follow-up session helps reinforce new patterns and supports lasting change.

Absolutely. Many of my weekly couples choose to schedule a Rapid Transformation Experience when they want to make a concentrated leap forward whether they’re preparing for a big life decision, working through a stuck point, or simply wanting to deepen their connection more quickly.
For current clients, intensives are available in modified formats and with adjusted pricing, since we’ve already built a foundation together. This means we can move into deeper work more quickly, customize the structure around your ongoing therapy plan, and integrate what we accomplish in the intensive into your regular weekly sessions for lasting results.
If you’re curious whether adding a Rapid Transformation Experience to your current work is the right next step, we can talk about your goals, the timing, and what format would best fit your relationship.
-
It depends on your goals and what your relationship needs right now.
Some couples choose to start with a Rapid Transformation Experience because it allows them to make significant progress quickly addressing core patterns, repairing trust, and learning practical tools they can begin using immediately. This can be especially helpful if you’re facing a big decision, are in a high-stress season, or feel like you can’t wait months to see meaningful change. After the intensive, some couples continue with regular sessions to deepen and maintain the progress they’ve made.
Other couples begin with weekly therapy to build a foundation and gradually work toward deeper topics. Later, they add a Rapid Transformation Experience to break through stuck points or accelerate growth. In these cases, the intensive builds on the trust and understanding we’ve already developed together.
Both paths work it’s really about your timeline, your comfort level, and how quickly you want to move toward change. We can talk through the options during a consultation to help you decide which starting point will serve you best.
-
Yes. Some couples come to a Rapid Transformation Experience while continuing their work with a primary therapist. You may feel that you’ve made progress gaining insight, understanding your patterns, and building some tools yet something deeper still feels stuck. Perhaps you can name the issues, but your nervous systems and emotional patterns haven’t shifted enough to create lasting change.
A Couples Rapid Transformation Experience can serve as adjunct therapy, giving you and your partner the space for concentrated, experiential work that addresses the body-based, attachment, and relational layers often left untouched in traditional talk therapy. This isn’t about replacing your current therapist it’s about complementing and accelerating the work you’re already doing.
During your initial consultation, we’ll discuss your current therapy, your goals for the intensive, and the best format to integrate this experience alongside your ongoing work. With your consent, I can also collaborate with your primary therapist to ensure the intensive supports and aligns with your overall treatment.
